Polytechnic High School 701 Fredrick Street was open for almost 90 years until the 1970s. Over that time the school had a reputation for a diverse and talented student body, inspirational teachers and administrators, and exceptional football teams.     Clement St. is five blocks north of Fulton. The school was on the other side of the park. I wonder if Mom walked to school through the park. You couldn’t ask for nicer surroundings.
